Denymite

Denymite is a combination of the word denim and dynamite. The name of the collection is inspired by the pop of burnt orange in the blue skies during a dynamite explosion which captures the eye of many individuals as it occurs.

The collection silhouette, panels and styles are inspired by a building created by the architect Frank Gehry. This building, known as the Stata centre in Massachusetts institute of technology has been built using techniques of deconstructionist architecture making it appear very unbalanced.

The asymmetrical appearance of this building as well as the different wall panels are used as inspiration to artistically make unique and interesting designs with a touch of burnt orange panels that are strategically placed on the garments to break away the shades of blue to make each piece more interesting to the viewer’s eye.

With its bold colour palette and architectural influence, this collection aims to bring together the worlds of fashion and architecture in an innovative and captivating way.
